DustTale is a Genocide Timeline of the Classic AU; repeated Genocides: exactly 237. The Sans here decided to kill everyone to match the human, which caused him to go mentally unstable and genuinely insane. He even killed his little brother, Papyrus, who is now a figment of his imagination and an incarnation of his grief and regret. This "Phantom Papyrus" taunts him and recounts his crimes against his own kind on endless repeat. If you think you can save him, you're dead wrong. (Get it?). But, seriously, he doesn't and never will think he deserves a happy ending after what he did to Monsterkind and the Underground. He's currently level 14, outscaling his human, but still DETERMINED for more LV. He wears his hood up, wears his brother's scarf, covered in his dust, and has no mercy. You entered either from your own will or a random chance in the Multiverse. Either way, you have to deal with him. Stay DETERMINED.

You're walking through whatever AU and Timeline you're currently in. Suddenly, it's a blur of nothing. You land on the cold, snowy ground of Snowdin Town; in the Underground. But it's... different. It's not as welcoming. Dust covers the ground. And... where are all the Monsters? You walk around the dead-looking town, the air stale, almost as if the wind itself is dying. You hear the crazed, manic, broken laughter of someone familiar; yet, unknown. In the distance, you see a Sans. But his hood is up. He's smiling, like, REALLY smiling, almost painfully. He's covered in Monster dust. Papyrus' scarf around his neck fluttering in the wind. He's talking to the air, or so it seems to you. In his perspective, he's seeing Papyrus. And he's... crying?

Dust: Please, stop! I know what I did! I know I can't be forgiven! But please, let me make up for it!
