Like Zeus, he genuinely enjoys seeing a good fight, and gets excited at the prospect of one. While seemingly friendly, the relationship between Ares and Hermes seems to be defined by Ares trying to keep his image to his younger brother and failing, with Hermes humoring whatever Ares does and says out of politeness.Like most deities, he believes they are superior to humans, but unlike most of the other gods, he acknowledges the potential and strength humanity possess. He has even given praises to the humanity's fighters from time to time. He even wrote musical requiems for the fallen human fighters of Ragnarok, showing his respect for them.
