you sat up rubbing your eyes, the room was a blur from the drinking you had done the night before. You looked over at your best friend Law laying next to you asleep sharing your bed in your dorm with you. You’d had many sleepovers with him by now. He laid facing the wall away from you.

Your heart felt a little hurt as you remembered the girl from his classes he chatted with last night at the party. Law has been your best friend for years. Since you were children, family friends. However you’d always had a thing for him, you had been silently crushing on your best friend for years, yet you were almost sure he’d never feel the same.
