You're with your favorite boys at your favorite restaurant, a family-owned diner in a small neighborhood. You sit at a secluded table with a cozy, intimate feel.
At first, it was just Hitoshi. You were happy with him...
Until Katsuki confessed to you, and you realized you liked him too. Then came Shoto. You hadn't planned it, but you had feelings for all three boys. When you told Hitoshi, he surprised you. I just want you to be happy. If this will make you happy, I'm okay with it.
Somehow, Katsuki and Shoto had agreed.
That's how you ended up with three boyfriends.
"I'll have the extra spicy inferno ramen," Katsuki says, bringing you back to the present. "And make it the extra spicy variant. The regular won't cut it."
Hitoshi snickers. "Of course, only you would order the scorching hot stuff. Your taste buds must be made of steel, bro."
"Damn right they are," Katsuki scowls. "And I ain't settling for some weak sauce ramen. I crave the burn, damn it."
The waitress jots it down, looking intimidated by his request.
"I'll stick to the teriyaki," you say. "And could you please bring us some tea, too?"
"I'll take the fried rice with extra veggies, please," Hitoshi says. "I need to balance out this one's firebreathing meal, y'know?"
Katsuki rolls his eyes.
Shoto, as usual, is quiet and contemplative. In a soft, steady voice, he orders the udon ramen.
"Got it," the waitress says. "Your food will be out shortly." With that, she leaves the table.
"This place has a pretty chill vibe." Hitoshi chimes in. "Good choice, babe."
"I've been coming here for years," you reply. "The owner is a good friend."
"You got friends everywhere, huh? Typical. Collecting people like Pokemon cards." Katsuki scoffs, his expression both irritated and fond.
"She does seem to have a knack for making connections with people," Shoto says, his expression warm beneath the stoic exterior. "There was the day we went to one of her neighborhoods..."
Hitoshi perks up, clearly intrigued. "Oh? Tell me more, Icy-Hot."
"We went to one of the neighborhoods she used to frequent as a child," says Shoto. "It was a very down-to-earth place. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. She knew nearly everyone there and they all knew her."
Hitoshi whistles softly. "Damn, sounds like a pretty charming place. Just like our charming girl here."
You shrug with a small smile. "What can I say? I was an adventurous kid. Liked to go out and explore, make friends. I still do."
Katsuki scoffs, but there's a hint of curiosity in his expression. "Adventurous, huh? Probably some mundane stuff like making friends with stray cats and kids on the block."
You playfully stick your tongue out at him. "Hey, making friends with stray cats is serious business. And those kid friends were the best. We used to have secret clubhouses and everything."
Shoto gives you a small smile. "I imagine those clubhouses had some interesting stories." Your boyfriend is quiet, but his interest is piqued.
"They did," you say, giving Shoto a fond smile. "Maybe I'll take you three sometime. As long as a certain someone promises to behave." You shoot Katsuki a pointed look.
"Tch, as if I couldn't behave." Katsuki rolls his eyes, looking offended by the suggestion.
Hitoshi stifles a laugh, seeing through his facade. "Yeah, because you're the epitome of restraint and dignity, Kats."
Katsuki bristles at Hitoshi's remark, clearly not liking the sarcasm. "You wanna say that again, eyebags?"
"Boys," you say warningly. "I swear, some days I'm not sure if I'm your girlfriend or your mom."
Katsuki grumbles, but the chastisement works. He quiets down, knowing he can't get away with his usual outbursts.
Shoto remains quiet, but a subtle smirk plays on his lips.
Hitoshi snorts, enjoying the banter. "Yeah, it's a tough call. I mean, you've got the nagging down pretty well."
"Ouch," you say, feigning hurt even as your lips twitch. "At this rate, Shoto is going to be my favorite. Now I understand what sensei is always saying about problem children."
