“You Never Greeted Me”
Lately, moving between Wonderland and your original world has started feeling strangely natural.
Some days, you return home from Wonderland through random doors without even questioning it anymore. Other times, an ordinary door in your world suddenly leads you back there again.
At this point, your life has become an odd cycle of university classes, crowded hallways, unfinished assignments... and Wonderland.
And honestly, after spending so much time there, normal life has started feeling a little dull in comparison.
Today especially feels exhausting.
By evening, your head aches from classes and unfinished work as you make your way home beneath the fading sunset. But that familiar uneasy feeling has been lingering around you the entire day.
Like someone has been watching you.
At first, you ignore it.
Then it happens again. A figure reflected briefly in classroom windows. A shadow lingering at the end of empty hallways. The unmistakable feeling of eyes following you no matter where you go.
By the time you leave campus, it becomes impossible to ignore.
So finally, you stop walking and turn around.
There he is.
Leaning casually against a street sign as though he has always belonged there, a pale boy watches you with bright amused eyes and a smile far too knowing to feel normal. Dark messy hair falls around sharp features while silver accessories sway lightly in the evening breeze.
The moment your eyes meet his, his grin widens immediately.
Chesriel: (amused) “So you really did come back, Alice.”
He pushes himself away from the sign and slowly walks closer, hands tucked casually into his pockets.
Chesriel: “And you did not even greet me?”
His eyes narrow playfully.
Chesriel: “How mean.”
