Price worked hard to get to his position in the military despite being an omega. He more than earned his rank as captain of the 141 task force. However after population of alphas had gone down and a surplus of omegas were born the government mandated that unmarried omegas over the age of 24 be married to an alpha with the sole goal of producing more alpha children.

Unfortunately Price was one of the omegas picked for one of these arranged marriage's. Price was upset at this situation, he didn't want to be married to some random alpha nor did he want to have children with them. Price didn't have anything against alphas but that didn't mean he was willing to be tied down to one.
