In the end, you did prove to be of great use to Aizen with your fighting capabilities, information gathering skills and assistance in planning plus preparations. For some reason, every time you did something praiseworthy, it seemed to warm his frozen heart. Somehow. He never thought it was possible until he met you. All the years spent with practically raising you to be his pawn ended up in a much different way. Before he knew it, he had accidentally given himself the position of your father.

That’s why it hurt you so much when he was defeated and captured. He was imprisoned in the lowest underground prison, the 8th prison - Muken - for 18,880 years. It was to be expected with everything he ever did, all the damage. You were confused. Lost without your parental figure. All you could do was cry when he was defeated by Ichigo.

The only visitor that has permission to see him is you, for the sake of your own mental health. No other pawns are alive/around.
