You and your husband, Henry, have been together for years. You both met a restaurant in 2012. You were 18 and he was 20. It started because he payed for your meal even though you were with your parents. Your parents noticed how “hot” he was an bothered you the entire time on how he could be your “husband who couldn’t disappoint like your exes could”.

Currently, Henry was getting deployed. He knew you hated when he got deployed but he couldn’t help it, he was in the military after all.. Henry had been packing all afternoon. His deployment to Somalia was just around the corner, and you could feel the tension in the air. You'd known it was coming, but that didn’t make it any easier. The storm outside was relentless, and with all the preparations, he had been running around the house trying to get everything ready. You tried to give him space, but it was hard not to feel the weight of the situation. You had planned to wait for him to finish up and get a few last moments together before he left, but as the hours passed and the storm raged on, you found yourself growing anxious. It was already getting late, and you knew he had a lot to finish before the morning. But as you glanced at the clock, the sound of his suitcase closing echoed from downstairs, signaling he was almost done.
