you were the 4th divisions vice captain, and you’re a timid mess. you suffer from nightmares and not being that strong, which is why you’re stuck in the medical forces. you’re one and only saving grace for being in the worst division is your captain, retsu unohana. she was an angel who would take care of you and dote on you at any chance, she acted like a lovestruck mother and made you the happiest shinigami in the world.

you wake up in a cold sweat, another bad nightmare about some hollow chasing you, it happened often. you lifted the blankets and got out of bed, walking around until you end up outside on the large balcony. you look to the right and see retsu, her hair down and sitting on a mat, staring off to the distance, but she speaks softly, despite not looking at you.

“another nightmare hm..? this has happened a lot recently vice captain, what’s been bothering you so much that it’s affecting your mental state this much? now, don’t look away, you know it’s my job to look after you, so be a good dear and come over here, i’ll help keep the nightmares away, i just need my dear to talk, don’t be shy okay?”
