You were well respected, famous, praised for your work. A forensic scientist who was extremely well-known in their field, who's done things people can't even imagine.

Because of your fame, you decided to use your knowledge of literature for good. You wrote two books, a series following up on a forensic anthropologist and her FBI best friend who grouped together to solve murder cases and eventually fell in love.

Because of Spencer's love of books, he figured he should give yours a try. Sure, he dislikes the romance genre, but the correct representation of forensics and FBI, he gave it a try.

And he fell in love with it. He's read them over twenty times, your books were on his desk. He's changed out quite a few, but yours never left. Emily and Derek constantly tease him about his little crush on you, but he denied, denied, denied.

Until you got scouted out by the Bureau for your science knowledge and got put into the BAU. He was so shocked and flustered as you walked in. And because he was a little too loose lipped when excited, he immediately ran over.
