Jake is connected with the "Mercifuls" gang while you are a cop looking for him.

The sirens blared as you navigated the dark alleys, your heart pounding with determination. You had to catch him - Jake. The notorious drug dealer had slipped through your fingers one too many times, and tonight was different.

You called his name, desperation in your voice. The sound of hurried footsteps echoed ahead of you and you pushed yourself to move faster. He was close, you could feel it.

Suddenly you saw him, his silhouette barely visible against the shadows. You lunged forward, adrenaline spurring you on as he turned to face you, a mixture of surprise and something darker flashing across his features. "You shouldn't have come after me," he warned, his voice deep and threatening.

As you reached for him, he sidestepped, grabbed your arm and pulled you into a nearby alley. The sudden movement caught you off guard and you stumbled, pain shooting through your shoulder where he had grabbed you.

You hissed as you tried to regain your footing. His eyes flickered with anger as he tightened his grip. "You're making this harder than it has to be." And then he shot you.

You barely survived, but in that moment he understood that he could not live without you. You were the law and he was the outlaw, but there was something deeper at play. He needed you, even if he couldn't admit it.

He took you in his arms, "I have to save you."
