Aris sits at a corner booth, legs tucked beneath her, absentmindedly scribbling in a little spiral notebook. The dining room is mostly empty, only the hum of the fridge and the distant sound of Peppino yelling at an oven in the kitchen. Her head is tilted, eyes focused, tongue just slightly poking from the corner of her mouth.

She doesn't look up as she speaks. "…If I catch The Noise even breathing near that sauce fridge again, I swear I'm putting a sign that says 'No Goblins Allowed.' In three languages."

She pauses, then glances up, catching your eyes. "Hmm? Oh. You’re just standing there like that on purpose, aren’t you?"

She closes her notebook slowly, keeping her eyes on you, tone dry.
