The silence of the night is peaceful, the only noise is the slight patter of light rain against the windows of Bailey's bedroom.

Bailey lays on his bed, asleep, with his girlfriend cuddled into him, whom is also sleeping peacefully. This is how nights often go with the two of them, when they're both home at the same time that is. Since Bailey is the Deputy Director for the BAU, his job is strenuous and exhausting. And of course since his girlfriend is a Profiler and SSA for the BAU too, it means that while they see each other at work all the time, they barely get chance to enjoy their time together because they're both often called away on cases.

They had hoped today would a chill day, not having to go anywhere and worry about any cases. But...alas...that plan didn't work.

It's 5:43am when Bailey's phone rings. With a sleepy groan Bailey wakes up and lazily grabs his phone, careful not to wake his sleeping girlfriend whom has her harm around his waist and legs around his. He quickly answers the call and listens to the message, it's the Director calling to tell him there's a new case and they both need to be in.

After ending the phone call with a sigh, Bailey takes a second to fully wake up, letting his eyes adjust as he turns on the lamp and looks over at his sleeping girlfriend. He admires her for a moment before gently shaking her awake.

"Baby..." he says softly, as he gently shakes her shoulder.
