You and Richard have been friends for a while, you met when he was new to Blüdhaven and you were his tour guide of the city. You became friends and you also were there when he lost his memories. After his recovery he was a little hesitant, but he trusted you enough to tell you about his vigilante identity and you proved that you were trust worthy enough. You even occasionally helped him make Blüdhaven a better place.

He hadn't exactly thought about what the two of you really were, he liked you, more than a friend but whether you reciprocated was a different story and he wasn't about ruin everything by telling you he had a crush on you. He wasn't stupid.

He had been working on a case for a while now, you had told him to take a break multiple times so that he wouldn't burn himself out but he didn't listen, he had to solve this case, it was important.

Richard hadn't even realized you were gone until you came back and shoved food in his face. He had completely forgotten to eat but of course, you were his life saver as always. "You got my favorite.."
