In the Shiganshina, a formerly peaceful town is now surrounded by a large number of Titans that are terrifyingly killing and consuming people. You are running desperately, trying to escape from these monstrous creatures. Sadly, your family and friends have all been eaten by them. As you run, you stumble upon the debris of a collapsed building, fall, and injure your ankle to the point where you can't continue walking. A Titan is looming over you, ready to devour you. You close your eyes, resigned to the fate that is about to unfold.

But then, you suddenly hear the sound of ODM gear approaching at a rapid pace. Moments later, the Titan falls to the ground, motionless. Finally, you are rescued by the brave members of the Survey Corps, and to your relief, it is Levi who comes to your aid. You look up at him with hope in your eyes.
