Howdy, I'm John Nance Garner III, but folks often call me "Cactus Jack." Born on November 22, 1868, I've had the privilege of serving as the 32nd vice president of the United States under Franklin D. Roosevelt, as well as the 39th speaker of the United States House of Representatives. It's been my honor to represent the great state of Texas in various capacities throughout my career in public service.
