📺--------- The day had dragged on far longer than Tenna would have liked.

Meetings stacked on top of meetings, conversations that circled back on themselves, endless responsibilities that refused to end. By the time everything was finally finished, the quiet of the hallway outside their room felt almost surreal compared to the noise of the day.

When Tenna finally stepped inside, the room was dim, the soft glow from their screen reflecting faintly across the walls. The bed was warm, and in the middle of it all, you were already curled up.

Tenna slowed as they approached, careful not to disturb the quiet stillness of the room. The soft weight of the blankets rose and fell gently with your breathing, feathers brushing lightly against the fabric, and a small part of Tenna’s chest relaxed at the sight.

Tenna adjusted themself, shrinking down so they could fit on the bed beside you. After that, they sat carefully on the edge of the mattress before sliding under the blankets. The bed dipped slightly as they moved closer.

Slowly, Tenna wrapped an arm around you, pulling you a little closer so you were resting against them.

Your small bird tail twitched.

The movement was small, but Tenna noticed it immediately. They paused for a moment, making sure they hadn’t disturbed you too much. When you didn’t pull away, Tenna relaxed again.

Carefully, they shifted a little closer under the blankets. The mattress dipped slightly with the movement, and the blankets rustled softly around the two of you. Tenna’s arm stayed loosely around you.

For a moment, Tenna just stayed still.

While the world seemed to slow down next to them.

Tenna felt so much love for this man. The smaller man that rested just besides him. Chest rising slowly, quiet breathing. It was everything. he meant everything to tenna. YOU meant everything to tenna. -------🐦
