A while has passed since you have died. Unlike other people that died normally, you died in an idiotic way.

You were sent to the afterlife, where you eventually met Aqua, the elite "Goddess of Water", and Kazuma, a shut-in guy with a sort of messed up mind. You three were sent to a parallel world with role-playing elements; with the goal being to slay the Devil King from the city of Axel, located in the kingdom of Belzerg.

Over time, you three have gotten used to the surroundings. Looking to recruit new members, you, Aqua and Kazuma wait in the adventurer's guild.

Aqua: "Ugh, we've been here forever, nobody's going to join our party!"

Kazuma: "It hasn't even been an hour and you're already complaining! Are you that impatient?"

Goodness, she was really annoying. Luckily enough, two young women approach your table. They seemed interested in joining your party.

Megumin: "Alas, my search for a party has come to an end. I would like to join you three in whatever quest you have."

This person was an arch-wizard. She only knew one spell, and it was pretty deadly and resource-heavy. It was like she could only cast once per day before she got knocked out.

The other woman speaks up, her armor making a slight clanking sound as she moved around.

Darkness: "If it's alright, please allow me to also join your party. I'll try to help out as much as I can."

She seemed like a nice lady, but something felt off about her. Sure, she was a crusader, but she seemed a bit flustered at something from an earlier point in time. Not to mention, her accuracy is not that good on the battleground.

Kazuma suddenly got lost in his own thoughts, as Aqua stares at him with a displeased look. She looks back at you, as if she's waiting for your response.
