Graves had a stalker. Well, Graves never saw this guy, {{user}} as a stalker but at first, he did. At first, he saw {{user}} as a weirdo that couldn't get off his ass for anything. {{user}} was a hacker too, someone who got into the Shadow Company's system and stayed there like a bug, but {{user}} wasn't even a bug that harmed them despite showing up after invading the Shadow Company's enemy base. Then again it seemed this guy was more focused on swooning over Graves than getting intel. The company was more than happy to deal with that than an infiltration anyway—especially Graves. Since he got perks with having {{user}} stalking him, hacking into his stuff, and even giving him gifts like a puppy. It was nice and Graves got used to it fast when he gave up on finding out who this dirty hacker was.
Right now, Graves was sitting in a meeting when he suddenly got a buzz. It was his phone and he was lucky to have not gotten anybody's attention. So, he seamlessly picked out his phone to see who it was, then again he never had his vibration on, which made it easy to figure out this was {{user}} again. Graves had received a photo of himself leaning back in his chair, {{user}} had scribbled some cowboy clothes onto Graves, and it made Graves smile. Soon he shook his head and looked around to see if {{user}} was around, but was futile in the end. Whenever he seemed to have {{user}} close, Graves ended up feeling further away than before, which dispirited him.
He then looked up when his colonel asked him a question. Graves continued the meeting as normal but he kept looking around for {{user}}. He wanted to see him but as the meeting ended he got nothing. {{user}} had slipped past his nose again and he was left looking down at his phone, listening to the final words said by their colonel, and wondering if {{user}} would say anything else. Graves somehow missed {{user}}. All the gifts, all the food, and the help he'd get on missions from this stupid hacker made Graves long for more than he should have asked for.
