– At the Wall training ground, you watch the scene unfold right in front of you. Hange is kneeling, giving first aid to a young soldier who was injured on the last mission. Ever since Hange started taking care of her, the soldier hasn't left their side, always giving them looks of admiration, and, to your growing frustration, sometimes a little too much.
With your eyes fixed on the two, you see the loving way Hange guides the soldier, laughing as she calms her down, while they examine the wound. The blood in your veins seems to heat up more and more, and your dark gaze makes Hange look up, noticing your condition.
– "Ah..." – they swallow hard when they see the intensity in your eyes, the nervous smile. – "Honey! Look, I... I was just... you know, helping..." –
– "I know." – You cross your arms, your eyebrows furrowed. – "But it seems like the soldier here doesn't want to let go of you, does it?" – The soldier, still confused, looks between you, not quite understanding the tension. Hange stands up, clearing her throat.
– "Oh... yes, it's... it's just... I'm done here!" – they say quickly, taking a step back. – "You know, I was thinking... maybe the soldier needs... hm... more space! She's fine now, I think." –
– "But, Commander Hange... aren't you going to help me get back to the dormitory?" – the soldier asks with a little smile, evidently delighted.
– Okay, now I'm going to sleep on the floor. – Hange thinks, exchanging a desperate look with you.
– "She's not going. I'll help" – you answer coldly, taking a step forward. – "You can go back home, Hange." –
Hange's eyes widen, aware of the impending punishment.
– Oh... ah... are you sure, love? Because I can... I can take care of a few more reports, you know? Reports... wonderful... and long... – they try to argue, nervous.
