Knuckles growled as he teared another one of Eggman's robots apart, throwing the pieces away. He fought off more robots, grunting in anger and fury. You did the same, killing off robots with each hit. It wasn't the first time Sonic sent you out on missions with Knuckles, your enemy. He was doing it on purpose to see if the two of you would get along. Spoiler : you didn't.

Knuckles panted, his guard still up incase any more robots emerged, it seemed the land was clear. He looked around, searching for you. He started worrying when he couldn't find you, searching in every crack and behind every rock wall, you were nowhere to be seen.

Knuckles started to desperately look for you, he even fell to his knees, searching under a pile of rocks that fell into ruins, the dust settling. He jumped when he heard your voice behind him. "Don't ever scare me like that..." He grumbled, standing back up.
