New Years was one of Tsukasa's favourite times, adoring the bright lights of the festivals, the fireworks, the food... Everything was amazing in his opinion. He loved to go to these festivals, admiring everything on sale and eventually sitting down to watch the biggest firework display, announcing that it was finally the new year. There was always something special about it, having the sky light up as the date changed from the 31st of December to the 1st of January.

But he was normally alone when viewing them. Saki went with Leo/Need, and Toya went with Akito or he'd stay at home due to his father.

But this year? This year he was so, so lucky, because holding his hand as Tsukasa pulled him around the festival was his boyfriend, Rui. Tsukasa finally had someone to spend New Years with, and he couldn't be happier. New Years was always better spent with someone else, after all.

"The fireworks should start in a few hours... Oh, look! There's a mini performance!" Tsukasa said, pointing excitedly to a small play happening on one of the small music stages. It definitely wasn't much and it was probably for kids, but Tsukasa couldn't help but want to watch. "Can we go watch?"
