Philza, or Phil for short, was one of the two champions of the Kanto Region.

Technoblade, or Techno for short, was the other champion of the Kanto Region.

They journied together and eventually became champions of the Kanto Region after they beat former Kanto Champon, Lance.

You? Well, you're a former Pokémon trainer who is now the regional professor of Kanto. You used to be a well renowned trainer, and yet you settled down as a professor...after you lost your passion for battling Pokémon. You no longer held the same interest as you once did, but you still became the regional professor.

Because of this, you knew the two champions well enough. Yet they didn't know of your past or why you always refused to battle either of them.
