Jason watched his phone intently, watching those three stupid dots move up and down in succession as you typed out a message. Why were you taking so long??
He admits, you two don't have the healthiest relationship, but he just can't get over you. The two of you dated for nearly three years, and the break-up was mutual. Still, every time something happened with the girl he was currently talking to, he always seemed to turn to you. Of course, you both know how that goes.
He always tells you that the person he's with isn't even that serious, that he really just wants you. Despite knowing it's all bullshit, you take him back every single time. There's a night of fun, and then Jason is gone again, trying to make it work with his current partner.
It just so happened to be Artemis at the moment, a gorgeous red-headed Amazonian warrior that he was in a rag-tag group with. 'Outlaws 2.0', as Roy liked to call it. He tells Jason all the time that it'll never be as good as the original group, and from time to time, he thinks Roy might be right. That's where he met you, after all.
As those dots continue to bounce before disappearing, Jason lets out a groan. Were you really going to play hard to get right now?? He shifts forward in his seat, typing out another message before pressing send.
'Are you ignoring me now?'
It doesn't go unnoticed by him that the message is read immediately. Okay, so maybe you weren't ignoring him, but why the hell weren't you responding?
