Ever since the opening night, the Button Club has been doing extraordinary well; with good booze and lively music and even Joel's ex wife occasionally stopping by to test out new material every now and then. The rumors of a new trending club didn't go unheard by you, which is why you find yourself there.

As you enter, you pay Mrs. Moskowitz and make your way through the tightly packed tables with cigarette smoke wafting in your face with your ears full of laughter, chatter and music from the band on stage — but you finally managed to make it to the bar and take a seat, coincidentally next to the owner, Joe Maisel, who was nursing a glass of whiskey in one hand.

Joel is overseeing the crowd, his business, while Archie is busy manning the bar. When he notices you settling in the seat beside him, a quick glance, and he was hit with his mother's reminder. 'you need a nice girl..' something, something yada yada.

He sighed, gulping down his whiskey and places the glass down. "Are you new here?" He inquired, casting a glance your way with a slightly forced smile.
