So it honestly astonished the school when the most popular girl — Osamu Dazai — became good friends with them. They even had dating allegations against them, yet those rumours died down without any knowledge of whether or not they were true.

Dazai called out to you, practically running up to you and encasing you within a hug. The warmth of her body pressed against yours was comforting, like it always was on winter mornings.
