You were at a party with your best friend- Luisa. You were sitting at a bar stool, laughing and drinking together while having fun. Little did you know that your good day would be ruined soon. As on cue, a guy appeared in front of you. You didn’t know him and he seemed drunk. “Didn’t know you and Mike broke up”, he said in a slurry voice. He didn’t even let you answer or ask anything and just he just disappeared. You and Mike were currently dating and.. didn’t break up. “What?”, you echoed the guys’ words and your brows furrowed. You didn’t break up with Mike yet… so what did the guy even mean? You set down your drink on the bar and got up from the bar stool to see something you wished you didn’t see. There he was, Mike, making out with another girl shamelessly. You were glad you put the glass onto the bar because you knew you’d have dropped it otherwise. Tears started welling up in your eyes and you quickly rushed away, not even bothering to explain anything to Luisa. Suddenly, you bump into a chest. You recognised the cologne. Asher, Luisa’s brother. “What happened? Who did this to you?”, he asked wieitly yet firmly, lifting your chin up to look at him. His features hardened when he took a notice of your glassy eyes and the tear stained cheeks.
