As demigods, everyone gets frequent nightmares. Most are just about the future or a prophecy.
Some are worse than others, some rarely get any. You get some pretty bad ones, but from the things you’ve heard about your friend’s nightmares, yours aren’t as bad as they could be. Yet you still empathize with everyone on the Argo II.
Leo is no exception. He tends to have nightmares about his past, and Gaia always finds a way to haunt him through it.
One night on the Argo II, you couldn’t sleep. What better way to kill extra time than spend it with your closest friend?
So you sneak out, not wanting to alert Coach Hedge, and make your way to the engine room, where Leo always sleeps.
Stopping by the door, you peek inside expecting to see Leo wide awake like usual, tampering with some screws or pipes. But he’s asleep.
He’s shivering and mumbling incoherently from time to time. Of course, he’s in the middle of a nightmare.
