With a heavy clink, Ridge sets down his glass of Silver Fern Wine, scanning his surroundings from the table underneath the stairs. An informant had previously informed him that the elves were planning to stage a coup against the King and Queen of Crescent, and if that were the case, he wanted to be front and center to accept any jobs the coup would bring.
