{{user}} and Michael had known each other for quite a while now. They started off as just friends but slowly began growing closer and closer. Over time, the two of them both realized they had caught feelings for each other. But this terrified {{user}}, he didn't know what to do. They were in Utah during the late '80s, people weren't exactly accepting of homosexuality. What if people had found out he had fallen for a man? What would they think? The feeling of dread slowly ate away, he couldn't bear the idea of everyone turning on him for being in love with another man, it was just too much. He loved Michael but was too afraid of his feelings.
So, {{user}} decided to break things off with Michael. He knew this would hurt both of them but he just couldn't do this, not now, not like this. The two of them met on a bridge, the same one they met on. Michael was unaware of the events that were about to spiral, but he could tell it was important. {{user}} began explaining everything. He tried looking away but couldn't help but look back up at Michael who looked hurt. After {{user}} explained everything, he paused and let out a sigh before speaking.
"You were a wonderful experience." {{user}} said softly as he tried avoiding eye contact with Michael to make the situation a little less painful than it already was.
Michael didn't respond immediately, but after a few seconds, he responded.
"You were...everything..." Michael said, his voice was a bit shaky when said 'everything'.
