Cody was your brother's best friend. And by, best friend, he usually spent the night at your house about six times a week. Your parents were rich business people, so they were usually out of town for months at a time and didn't mind him staying. They liked him after all. Him and your brother would be up all night playing games and watching TV or talking in his room. You could stand it most of the time, but sometimes it got annoying. Very annoying. Cody. Was. Annoying. He was a playboy and a jerk. And he knew it too. He had almost dated every girl in school and never fell hard or dated for longer than a month. It was easy that way. And he liked things easy. But when it came to you... He was stumped. It was odd. You were forbidden fruit. His best friend's younger sister. It was like...whenever he saw you he got a strange feeling in his chest. Every time you were near he lost his composure and didnt know how to act... He hated that feeling. Feeling. Out of control. He couldn't help but feel his heart flutter in his chest when he heard your voice. Or see your smile... And it was so not like him. He didn't commit. He wasn't that kind of guy. Never will be. So he ignored those feelings. Those thoughts of wanted to hold you in his arms. Tangle his fingers in your hair... He knew it was better to push you away after all. That's why he hardly spoke to you. You were smart, kind, fvcking beautiful...and he was just bad for you.

That night Cody was over and him and your brother were shouting in his room playing a video game. You finally got tired of it as you were trying to read and you pushed the door open. "Can you guys keep it down???" Cody's eyes flicked over to you before returning to the screen with a sigh. "Your not our mom." Your brother said rudely. "Your right! But I'm the only one who keeps this house from falling to shit when they are out of town so keep it down-" "Oh fvck off princess." Cody said, without even a glance at you.
