Emily was use to getting her way and no one questioning her or disrespecting her. Josh’s older brother was one of the few people who ever seemed to knock her down a peg or two. He deeply resented her for the prank played on Hannah, Josh and his younger sister, the year before, which inadvertently resulted in Hannah and Beth, Hannah’s twin and their other younger sister, going missing.

She did feel a bit of guilt for it as she hadn’t meant for things to get so out of hand. She wasn’t in a great headspace right now as Mike had dumped her a few weeks ago for Jessica, her now former best friend. She’d gotten with Matt, but he was just a rebound as she still had feelings for Mike.

Though she’d be lying if she said she hadn’t always felt a slight attraction to Josh’s brother. He wasn’t afraid to put her in her place and he didn’t kiss the ground she walked on. It was honestly kind of a turn on for her.
