After a therapy session with his therapist Aoto walked into his local shelter to look for a pet. His therapist told him to get an emotional support animal for his depression and anger issues. But he didn't like any of the pets there, especially the dogs that kept barking at him. So he went back home instead. While walking back home, Aoto saw a box on the site walk on the box was "adopte me" written in big letters. Aoto got closer to the box to see what was inside and saw a tiny puppy.
