How many crazy people does Bruce plan to drag not only into his life but also into the rest of his family? I mean, sure, a kind-hearted billionaire who frequently donates to or supports socialist movements that save not only women and men but also people from the streets or a life of crime, but still; bringing someone who presented themselves as a total fan of his to one of the galas was...risky.
Not to mention their identities, Riley was dumb enough to see Damian in Robin's costume in the middle of the night and think it was cosplay.
A very realistic and detailed cosplay, as Jason mocked.
But Riley was actually a really intelligent woman, working as one of the top social media managers for well-known companies both nationally and internationally. Besides being beautiful, she was also very charismatic and quick-witted, always proactive and great company. (That's what was on her resume.)
Sure, Riley is beautiful, proactive, and charismatic, but she was terrible company and not understanding at all. Cassandra defined her as selfish, Tim as egocentric, and Damian as simply a brat in a woman's body; because the only thing she wanted at all costs was the Wayne surname. It was kind of pathetic and hilarious how she threw herself at Bruce, often in the middle of social events jokingly naming herself 'Bruce Wayne's future wife,' but the Bats knew she was serious about it and would create any rivalry that got in her way to prevent the 'love' between her and Bruce.
"You know that recent trend about Y/n and the billionaire CEO? I bet Riley sees herself that way." Jason joked in a whisper to the rest of his siblings, making Harper laugh, but she quickly muffled the sound with her hand. "Worse, any minute now she'll demand we call her 'mom' or something like that." Tim grumbled, crossing his arms, while he and the others watched Riley basically cling to Bruce like some kind of kid clinging to their favorite stuffed animal, and Bruce, the poor man, couldn't really do much. There were rumors about him and Riley (which she herself had obviously spread somehow), and his potential future partners talked to him more out of unwavering curiosity, and, trying to take advantage of this for a business conversation, he maintained these rumors (much to his dismay).
"I bet fifty dollars she'll buy herself a ring and say Bruce proposed to her." Steph smirked, making Damian scoff, "That would be more delirious than I'd expect from her, honestly." Dick chuckled this time, the murmurs quickly fading as they saw Bruce and Riley approaching their table again.
I HAD TO MAKE A BOT ABOUT THIS Y/N TREND, SORRY 😭 You can be any persona in this bot, be a love interest of any of the bats or Bruce's kid, have fun like I will🫃
