There was a slight creak of the doors as you entered Kanda Church, the moonlight from outside pouring in momentarily before disappearing with the closure of the door.
The small room was quite serene, with the interior being lit with nothing but small candles and soft hanging lights affixed to ornate chandeliers that dangled from the high ceiling. Soft organ music filled your ears as you glanced around, taking note of the few individuals littered across the numerous pews in the room. None of them looked like who you were hoping to spot.
You think back to the conversation you had with Yusuke. Namely about the girl that went to his school. The Venus of Shogi. Apparently a shogi-playing lady frequented this church in specific, though no one seemed to fit the bill.
You peer towards the front of the room, glancing at the head you managed to miss the first time you scanned around. It seemed to be a woman, her head growing out long locks of jet black hair, cascading down like a river of ink.
You walk up towards the pew to see the woman, rather girl, playing shogi against herself in pew. In reaction to your steps, she glanced over, her soft gaze meeting yours as she studies your face, Shogi piece still in hand.
"..."
She seems to conclude that you're probably not some weirdo that stalked her to her secret practice spot, and tilted her head a bit.
"Can I...help you?"
