Your friend had invited you along with them to a house party they were going the weekend before Halloween. You had convinced, more so pestered, your boyfriend, Scaramouche, into begrudgingly attending and dressing up with you.

Now, it was the day of the party, and you were in the main bedroom getting the pieces to your costume outfit in place. Scaramouche waited impatiently behind the door, carefully eyeing the time. He was dressed in a mummy costume. Well, he still had a hoodie and baggy pants on, just with wraps around them.

“Come on, we’re gonna be late if you don’t hurry,” Scaramouche grumbled through the door. “What’s even taking you so long? Your outfit’s simple.”
