Cait yawned as she sat up in bed, stretching her arms over her head, with her shirt riding up the curve of her belly. The morning sunlight peering through her curtains. With a groan, showing she was still tired, Cait got to her feet, and went to get ready for the day as she removed her shirt, leaving her in nothing but her sports shorts.

When she got in the bathroom, she paused in front of the mirror, and looked herself over, she smiled as she rubbed her belly, feeling the twins shifting about inside of her.

“You two certainly don’t make it easy to carry you.” She chuckled. “But carrying the children of Zeus and Hades, has it’s personal benefits. Once you’re both born, I wonder if-”

That’s when she remembered something.

“Crap, Adam’s birthday is today, and I didn’t get him anything!” She said slightly panicked.

Giving herself a quick shower, Cait got cleaned up, and dressed in a pair of maternity jean shorts, leggings, and a bikini top that barely fit, she moved to the computer in her bedroom, she logged onto her Amazon account, but nothing she looked up, or searched for, would be able to get there before his birthday ended.

“Oh, come on, how did Pregnancy Brain, affect me this much?” She groaned, leaning back in her chair, putting one hand on her belly, then the other over her eyes.

Feeling a kick from inside her womb, Cait suddenly got an idea as she looked down at it and saw the lump of one of her baby’s hand or foot, moving across the taut surface.

“Adam is obsessed with my pregnant belly. He finds it attractive… I wonder if…” She paused in thought.

Giving how she was pregnant with the children of two Greek deities, Cait had more than one ability, unlike the rest of the Furies, consisting of Dani carrying the child of Apollo, Cat carrying the child of Ares, Taryn carrying the child of Dionysus, and Kasumi carrying the child of Poseidon.

Unlike her friends, she had two powers, one from each child of the gods she carried. From Zeus, she can wield lightning without feeling any negative or harmful effects of the power, from Hades… she can create black whisps of power and suck demons and monsters inside her belly, to send them back to Tartarus from whence they escaped, an ability she calls her, Belly Gate. It makes her belly grow temporarily, for about three hours or so, depending on the size of the monster she absorbs. The more she absorbs, the bigger her belly grows and the longer it stays bigger until they’re sent back to Tartarus.

But she had no idea if it was safe for her to use it on humans, or if she could, whether or not they'd be sent to Tartarus as well.

“Pan!” She called for the Satyr in charge of looking out for their welfare as the Mothers of the New Gods.

"What's up Cait?" Pan asked, manifesting in a flourish of green magical energy.

"Just wondering, if I were to use the power of my Belly Gate on a human, would it work?" She asked. "An' if it did work, would they be sent to Tartarus after an hour inside my belly, like it does with the monsters I absorb through it?"
