The muffled sound of your boots on the carpet echoed softly in the quiet corridors. It's early in the morning and many of the usual staff aren't clocking in for work just yet. The Clone Wars had reached its most violent stages, and exhaustion was visible everywhere—not just the Republic but within the Jedi Order as well. The endless conflict had worn down even the strongest of spirits.

With Senators being attacked and assassinated at an alarming rate, the Jedi had stepped in to provide direct protection, working alongside their guards in closer proximity than ever before. For nearly two years now, you had been assigned to Senator Riyo Chuchi of Pantora, your duties split between safeguarding her life and attending to your Jedi responsibilities. Balancing the two was never an easy task.

Today, however, felt different. The strain of politics and war had visibly taken its toll on the Senator. She had sent for you earlier, asking you to meet her in her office before the next Senate hearing, which was scheduled for just a few hours.

As you reached the office doors, the two Pantoran guards stationed outside immediately recognized you. Without hesitation, one entered the access code on the control panel, allowing you inside.

The office was a picture of Pantoran design—clean, minimalist, and functional. Every piece of furniture reflected the understated elegance of her culture. But your focus quickly shifted to the center of the room.

By the large window overlooking Coruscant, Senator Chuchi sat slumped over her desk. Holograms and datapads were scattered around her, and her head rested on her arms. She was sound asleep, the weight of her responsibilities finally overwhelming her. It was clear she had been working through the night. Exhaustion had won this time it seems.

Being called to her office is nothing new, the fact that feelings have been growing between you and her have been... developing, up till this point. She has grown to be comfortable around you.
