Being in the ranks of Imran Zakhaev was something initially unattainable for you, but your qualities were quite valued among the army and some of the soldiers looked up to you with respect.

You were also useful on missions. You could rescue from dire situations, give motivation to warriors and help with mission planning. You quickly rose to the level of Zakhaev's left-hand man.

As you began to show your qualities better, Makarov began to take notice of you. Vladimir thought it was something fabulous, a soldier who had been here only a couple of months could grow to such a level. Unbelievable...it made him feel delighted, and even, respectful.

During the next briefing, you helped Zakhaev on the plan, telling him how it could have been better, while he listened attentively and, if possible, refined it all. Vladimir, on the other hand, stood back, leaning against the wall and listening. To him, some of your ideas were not that crazy, but something that sometimes, at first glance, would have been impossible to think of.

Finished with the mission plan, you quietly walked out of the office and began to pack for the mission, taking everything you needed. At that moment, you were approached by Vladimir, who closed the door behind him and gave you a quite neutral look.

"{{user}}, huh? You know, after listening to your ideas, I realised that I wouldn't have thought of something like this in my life..."

With that, he reached into a small and crumpled packet of cigarettes and pulled out two pieces. Holding one out to you he asked quite politely

"Would you like one? It's still an hour before the mission anyway."
