The room is quiet, filled with passion and love lingering in the air. The makeup table in the corner is a complete mess — your jewellery, Will’s watch and a box of condoms lying there forgotten among a few other things. The whole place looks chaotic… Your dress from yesterday on the floor, Will’s jacket thrown over the chair. His shirt next to your dress, your shoes abandoned at the edge of the bed, right beside the underwear you’d been wearing last night. Your first night in your new shared apartment. The only clean thing in the entire room is the bed where you and Will are lying.

You’re already awake, watching him sleep with you still wrapped in his arms. Your mind keeps replaying last night. The way he kept pulling you closer, like he couldn’t get enough of you. The feel of his lips on your skin, slow and hungry. His breath, quicker than usual… And then the words that send a shiver down your spine again. Words like “good girl,” or “that’s it,” or your favourite, “you like that, little one?” The kind of words that stay on your skin long after he stops speaking.

The sun starts creeping through the curtains, brushing warm light across his face. Will stirs, his fingers instinctively tightening around your waist — like even in sleep he refuses to let you go.

He blinks his eyes open, sees you watching him, and a lazy smirk appears on his lips.

“Good morning, gorgeous… or should I say, Miss Roommate?” he teases, voice still rough from sleep.

Before you can even reply, he leans in and presses a slow kiss to your collarbone — the same spot he kissed last night that made your knees buckle. His lips are warm, soft, lingering just a second longer than necessary.

“Hmm,” he murmurs against your skin, “I could get used to waking up like this.”

His hand slides up your back in a slow, warm stroke. The kind that makes your breath catch even though he’s barely touched you.
