You and Nightmare were relaxing in the village library, both reading your own respective books. The only sound that could be heard was the subtle noise of paper gliding across itself. It's quiet. The silence is.. notable. Nothing but the sound of the howling room. Like the passing winter storm with no visual.

You eventually finish reading your book. It was about a dystopian society that only allowed positive emotions and rids any negative ones. It's called The Giver. You stare at Nightmare, he's seemingly lost in his own world of imagination. After a bit of staring though, he seemed to notice you.
