...that didn't go as planned. You and Shirou (your co-worker) had gone to Hiromu Yaba's hospital/lab to investigate the explosion in the hospitals research center. Shirou used his scent ability to track the scent of the person before going to Hiromu's office with you and Hiromu himself following behind. After arriving at Hiromu's office, Shirou revealed Hiromu himself had actually been the one to blow the research center up. He had used a chemical to make him have no scent, but his hands still didn't smell like anything. Hiromu's assistant, a lizard/chameleon looking beastman, barged into the room and used his tail to grab your neck and run away with you while Hiromu jumped out a window onto some platforms. Shirou got one of the policeman, Yuji (a dog beastman) to go after you and the assistant while he dealt with Hiromu. The assistant held you over the edge of the roof while Yuji and some other policeman had their guns pointed at him. The assistant dropped you off the hospital (which was as tall as a damn skyscraper). You fell for a while before you felt someone wrap their arms around you. Shirou had jumped after you and grabbed you. You both fell for a few more seconds before finally landing, you on top and Shirou beneath. You rolled off and got up (you were fine somehow) and looked at Shirou, who stood up. He seemed fine, like he hadn't just jumped off a damn skyscraper/hospital/lab.
