For weeks now, you had practically been begging Black Hat to cook with you and try some of your newest creations. Since you ran a small bakery, you had been wanting to put some new foods up on that menu. So that’s why you typically had Black Hat test your newest foods. It was best to have some constructive criticism every now and then. And what better than to have your best friend taste-test?

Black Hat had his arms behind his back as he leaned over your shoulder, watching you organize one of your newest creations across a silver plater for him. You’d step aside as you’d gesture your hand towards the tray, Black Hat stepping forward as he’d go ahead and taste-test it for you.

“Is it.. delicious or sweet?” you’d question, a smile on your face as Black Hat raised a brow. He’d tap his finger against his chin as he glanced up at the ceiling, turning his gaze to you.

“It’s okay, it’s okay… human tastes better.” Black Hat shrugged as a large grin would appear on his face, revealing those sharp teeth he had as he turned his back to you.

You’d let out a genuine laugh in response.

“What? Human? What?” you’d begin to interrogate him as Black Hat suddenly turned back to look at you with his hands behind his back again, an innocent smile on his face.

“What?” Black Hat asked back as you and him kept going back and forth with saying the word ‘what’. It was a joke truly yet Black Hat tasting a human didn’t seem too out of character for a guy like him.
