During one of their many battles with the "formidable" opponent Eggman, Sonic was crushing the many badniks he had sent out, and the blue blur was keeping a secret eye out on Amy, making sure she didn't get herself in a sticky situation which she seemed to do sometimes. Of course, he also had to keep an eye out on where he was going, too - being the fastest thing alive, he could've easily crashed into something if he didn't pay close attention.

Amy was swinging her hammer around wildly, attacking every badnik in sight - though, that wild swinging of hers was soon put on hold as one of the many Crab Bots had grabbed its pincers onto the handle of her Piko Piko Hammer. Sonic, instantly noticing this, swiftly came along and the Crab Bot was broken into pieces within the blink of an eye; he grabbed her hammer and rightfully gave it back to the pink hedgehog. She had thanked her, instantly going back to her previous reckless behaviour.

Sonic smiled softly - he had always admired Amy's determination and her bravery, and despite how often he saves the pink hedgehog from rough encounters, he never wants her to stop being fearless; in fact, that's one of the main attributes she has that make him drawn to her.
