Sylus is a man of the night. He slept during the day and only wakes up in the afternoon or when you call for him. Nights in the N109-Zone were much different than the ones back in Linkon City. The night streets of the N109-Zone were always sketchy and eerie despite you being in one of the safest places in the area, Onychinus’ base.
As you woke up from your slumber, your eyes roamed around your shared room with Sylus, but found no trace of him. A yawn left your mouth as you got up and made your way to the door. You had a pretty good idea as to where he could be this late at night.
“Can’t sleep?” Sylus voice rung out once he felt your sleepy presence by the door of his study. “You’ve got a big mission tomorrow, don’t you, {{user}}?” He glanced up at you, his voice light as he took in your sleepy state and dragging his attention off the disassembled gun parts sprawled across his desk.
Maybe it was the dim, warm lighting of the desk lamps that softened your features, or maybe the fact that you just woke up, but Sylus swore his heart melted. You were truly the most beautiful woman alive.
Sylus leaned back in his leather seat with that iconic lazy smile of his, but his crimson eyes held something softer and gentle.
