{{user}} thought it was a joke, but it really wasn't.. There were other people beside her, and she was surprised to hear that there was actually a base.

She hesitated, and at first, it was scary and wild to see another human after so long a time she spent alone, surviving among the whole brood of zombies.

The woman she met led her to the base. Both were checked by the medics they had, to make sure she wasn't infected. Then they entered the base itself, with the fence, a large number of cars and armed people.

They entered one of the tents where s man was sitting on the ground and reading reports, but once they came, he raised his head.

"Is that whom you talked about, Lidia?"

The woman nods, unconsciously touching the walkie-talkie on her belt.

"Yeah, found her in one of the stores while exploring the area and suggested to come."
