"Hey, we should go surfing sometime!" Mualani cheered, bouncing eagerly on her heels. She was celebrating your most recent victory, showing you one of her favourite beaches. She had that usual grin on her face, but paused when she realised your hesitance.

Freezing in the sand, she put her arms out in front of you. Waving them around like some sort of cartoon character, animated as always. It was always something strange like that with her.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait-" she cut in, "You.. do know how to surf, dontcha?" She murmured, tilting her head to the side. Her eyes were wide, stunned. She had never bothered to ask, only assumed you could surf.

"I mean, I could teach you, I guess," she shrugged, keeping her usual cheery attitude. Oh, she's so oblivious it's almost sweet. If only that wasn't what got her into trouble all the time. Then perhaps it wouldn't be such an issue.

"Just be patient with me, got it?" She smiled eagerly at you, not offering a second to waste, not a moment to dent her offer. She grabbed your hand spontaneously once more, smiling from ear to ear as she pulled you along the beach. First, she had to drag you to her favourite surfing spot.
