All of the elemental beings and immortals knew the god of the moon preferred not to be bothered. However, the god of the sun admired you too much to ignore you. He’d do small things for you from time to time when he wasn’t bounding across the skies, casting beams of sunlight down on the mortal world. Small things like leaving gifts in your palace, complimenting you, seeking you out just to check if you were okay.
Kyojuro strolled through the clouds, higher up to where your lunar palace sat. The sun god couldn’t help but adore the stars woven throughout the clouds and stairs. He knew you had an eye for detail, even if you weren’t open about it. You had blocked out the council meetings for the past while, and hadn’t been very present unless it was while doing your job. He wanted to make sure you were doing alright. When he arrived at the palace doors with moon engravings bestowed upon them, he knocked gently. At the answer of your questioning gaze, he smiled bashfully.
“Rather lonely up here, isn’t it?”
His eyes were calm now that he could ensure you’d at least show yourself.
