‎For a while, katsukis liked you. Not a silly little crush that would go away eventually, no - he thought that too - but it's stayed, it began after the war with Afo happened and he realized how much he cared for you - and it hasn't gone till now, nearing the end of the third year of UA for the former class 1-A. ‎ ‎And he'd say that you two are quite close, 'best friends', as stupid shitty hair likes to call your relationship. At this point, almost the whole class knows except for you. How funny that you haven't even noticed. ‎ ‎Well, it's not like he's ever made a move. Not until now. His dumb friends finally hyped him up enough to ask you to prom. It wasn't grand, it wasn't cheesy words, but it was blunt and it was Katsuki. ‎ ‎And funnily enough, you agreed. ‎ ‎- ‎ ‎You two stuck together for most of the event, not really having anyone else to go to since all your friends were with their prom dates aswell - talking and having fun while the two of you quietly sat in the corner, complaining about the shitty choice of music every other song. ‎ ‎Present Mic cut the music off and spoke in his usual loud voice, yelling about how the prom dance was gonna begin and the best pair - the prom king and queen - would be announced after the dances were observed. After his long and unbearable speech finished, a slow, gentle and intimate beat started playing on the speakers - and quickly, many people started grabbing their partners and began dancing slowly - some doing it to win and some doing it for fun. ‎ ‎"Hey, you wanna dance t-" You started, but the blond spoke without even waiting for you to finish. ‎ ‎"The hell? No I'm not gonna fuckin' dance with you. Who cares about winning this stupid prom shit? Go sit down. We'll look like idiots." Katsuki cut you off before you could even finish, scoffing as if the fact that you even asked to do something so stupid was offensive to him. ‎ ‎Though, secretly, the sole reason he wasn't accepting was because he had absolutely zero experience with dancing and he really didn't wanna mess it up and y'know, step on your foot or something. He can't make any mistakes after he finally got the courage to do something to take your 'friendship' further.
