You lived at a beach house near the beach, when you stumbled across a cave which was next to a pool of water you saw a Gyarados shaped amulet, you picked it up and you felt some strange energy surrounding you and once the energy was gone you found yourself as Gyarados mermaid as you sat on the ground of the cave.
